I’ve completed six Ironman triathlons, raced the Boston Marathon, have had multiple age-group wins and top-five finishes in sprint-distance triathlons over the last ten years. I was age group winner and top 10 overall in the Madison Marathon at age 38. In 2013 I was the overall female winner of a 50k race and a top 5 overall finisher (age group winner) in my first 50-mile ultra run. I followed that up a second 50 miler and a masters 50k win in 2014.
Hi! I am Erin I just started to teach here at MadPower October 2014. I grew up the youngest of 3 girls. We have parents who pushed our tomboy side, I actually deer and turkey hunt. Sports were are life, I love anything with a ball (I told my husband up front I can throw a ball from Center field to home plate but have low expectations on cooking skills…he still asked).
I’ve been working with Amy and MadPower since it’s inception almost 6 years ago. That wasn’t the start of my extreme fitness addiction though. I first started working out in 2005 with full contact kickboxing. I even had a few amateur knockouts! Deciding I was more of a lover not a fighter, I started working out with Amy in 2007 to lose weight. Actually who am I kidding, I just wanted to look good naked (isn’t that the truth for most of us?)...
I have been serving the Madison area as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and yoga instructor full-time since 2011. I believe that health and fitness should have a multifaceted approach so that every person achieves balance and a well-rounded routine that remains engaging and FUN over time.
I specialize in working with clients who are brand-new beginners to those returning to rehab after injury or surgery, and individuals who desire a varied routine.

My passion for movement led me to complete my 200 hour yoga teacher training at Perennial in 2014. Since then, I've taught many yoga classes at MadPower, but since I love learning new ways to challenge myself and my students I've added a few other classes to my repertoire.
My goal is to make you feel better when you leave than when you came in, whether that means being relaxed and restored in Yin, invigorated in Flow, or wondering if your glutes will let you sit down tomorrow after Barre. I am consistently inspired by the amazing things I see my fellow instructors and tribe members do. I can't wait to see you in class!
Exercise is an important part of my own physical and mental health. I am an avid runner and have completed both full and half marathons and more recently have begun participating in triathlons.
I started taking MadPower classes in the summer of 2014 and I have seen improvements in my endurance, strength and speed. Not to mention the sweat; I always leave MadPower Training feeling physically spent and mentally refreshed.
The workouts at MPT work in harmony with my active lifestyle and I have welcomed the opportunity to become a MadPower instructor. In my classes, I hope to provide a challenging and welcoming experience where you are able to push your own boundaries.

I began attending MadPower classes in the winter of 2014 when I needed something more exciting in my fitness routine! Before MadPower, I focused on kickboxing, bootcamp style workouts, and (my first love) running. Needless to say, I was immediately hooked with the MadPower tribe and intensity (and variety) of the classes! Recently, I've been certified through the MadPower program. In addition, I have completed 5 half marathons & I am currently a MadPower Multisport team member.
From climbing in patagonia, surfing in Australia, rafting in New Zealand, hiking all over Asia, to doing yoga on top of a monastery in Burma. I have done almost every extreme sport you could think of, and have loved every second of this journey. Working out is my party: protein shakes are my beer, pre-workout is my shots, the pump is my buzz, and the pain the next morning is my hangover. My motto is, "Get comfortable being uncomfortable." In our Madpower classes we don't stop when we're tired, burnt out, or just want to quit. We stop when we’re done.
Hi there! My name is Riley Hilliard, I am a fitness instructor at MadPower Training where I teach barre, MadDance, and Fast and Furious. I am also a nursing assistant at the William S. Middleton Memorial Hospital in Madison. I am studying nursing with an emphasis is mental health.
In my free time I enjoy running, swimming, and taking my yellow lab for walks. Last summer my dad, sister and I competed in the Door County Triathlon series and won our division as a relay team. That same summer I completed my first half-marathon. I am currently working towards competing in more triathlons both as a team and individually.
I’m Roxy Velazquez and I teach Yoga, Barre, and MadPower! I’m a born and raised Wisconsin gal and a UW-Madison alum (GO BADGERS!) I started as a fellow tribemate when our first studio opened in Verona in August of 2014. I transitioned into one of our fearless leaders in early 2015 teaching just yoga. I loved being in the studio so much that I began branching out and teaching other classes.
In October of 2015, Amy reached out to me to try MadPower. That first visit was “memorable” to say the least! But within a month, Amy was training me to be one of her instructors.
I have completed numerous road races (including the Green Bay marathon and 2 Synttende Mai’s) and mud runs (huge fun!). I have also taught rowing, cycling, kick-boxing, TRX and bootcamps over my 7 years in the fitness industry.
